Valuation norms for Semester Examination

UG Courses:
Question papers are set by external examiners for Core, Allied and Elective courses, Selfstudy, Non Major Elective, Value Based Education, Gender studies and Environmental Studies. Moderation norms are framed by the result passing board on genuine reasoning.

PG & M.Phil Courses:
Question papers are set by external examiners for all Core and Elective courses and self-study papers. All papers are valued by external examiners. Moderation norms are framed by the result passing board on genuine reasoning.

Revaluation:
For UG and PG courses, fees for revaluation are fixed as per the Bharathidasan University guidelines. After revaluation, if the student’s score is more than the score in the previous valuation the marks scored in revaluation will be declared as the mark of the student. If the score after revaluation is less or equal to the score in the previous valuation the result will be declared as “no change”.

Result Passing Board:
Moderation norms approved by the Result Passing Board are followed for UG and PG courses.
